The Red One modding project by C4B12

If you are a regular reader of our website, than you probably already know that modding project can be (and usually are) done in a wide variety of themes and styles. It seams that the swedish modding enthusiast C4B12 decided to once again remind us of this fact by making a modding project that is devoted to his favorite soft drink — Coca-Cola. This mod was made as his school project, with the finished result getting named The Red One.

C4B12 used a bottle crate for glass Coca bottles as a basis for his modding project, having purchased the said bottle crate for a symbolic price of $2. To make the bottle crate more suitable for installing PC hardware components and give it a more PC enthusiast look, C4B12 didn’t only make a special cover for it, which he fabricated from tinted acrylic, but also installed a metal bottom and some case fans with windows in sides of the bottle crate. The insides of the bottle crate don’t only house the traditional PC hardware, but also some CCFLs which are responsible for giving the project a matching red color illumination. To make a stylized powered button that would fit the theme of the project, C4B12 used a bottle cap form his favorite beverage.
